CISAC hosts Chinese government delegation in Paris

On 10 July, a delegation of high-ranking Chinese officials from the National Copyright Administration of China (NCAC), IPKey (an organisation dedicated to EU-China IP cooperation), the China Written Works Copyright Society (CWWCS) and the Music Copyright Society of China (MCSC) visited CISAC’s headquarters in Paris.  The agenda of the meeting covered a range of topics including extended licensing, the transfer of value and ISP liability, good governance, and the visual artists’ resale right. The latter topic was presented by a representative of ADAGP, the French visual art society.

The Chinese delegation included Mr Tang Zhaozhi, Deputy Director General of the Copyright Department of NCAC, Ms Hu Ping, Deputy Division Director of the Copyright Department of NCAC, Mr Dong Jin, Deputy Director of NCAC, Mr Cai Jiwan, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Press and Publication Bureau, Mr Lu Zhipeng, Director of Copyright Management Division, Beijing Municipal Press and Publication Bureau, Mr Zhang Hongbo, Director General of CWWCS and Mr Zhu Yan Zheng, Assistant to the Director General, Director of Information and Publicity Department of MCSC.
