On July 24th, the Ivory Coast welcomed CISAC and authors' rights societies to make up about 200 guests for a major reception hosted by the Minister of Culture and Francophonie Maurice Kouakou Bandaman. The guest of honour was the Minister of Culture of Burkina Faso Abdoul Karim Sango. The event took place at the official hall of the City of Abidjan with the mayor present.

The reception was held as part of the CISAC Regional African Committee meeting in Abidjan.
